123 HP Officejet 4630 Fax Setup

123 HP Officejet 4630 is now available with Fax feature which promotes you to send and receive faxes, including color faxes. You can also prioritize faxes and set up speed-dials to send faxes instantly and easily to often  used numbers. You can also set number of fax options, such as fax resolution, contrast of the faxes.

Sending a Fax

Using the 123 HP OJ 4630 printer’s display panel, you can send a black-and-white or color fax. You can also send a fax manually through local landline connected to your printer. This helps you speak before your fax gets delivered to your recipient.

Sending Standard Fax:

• Now send a single page or multiple pages black-and-white or color fax from your 123 HP OJ 4630 printer.
• To print confirmation of sent faxes, enable Fax confirmation on your printer.
• Use your printer control panel to send a standard fax.
• Load the original document print-side down in the right corner of the scanner glass
• Else Place the document print-side up in the Automatic Document Feeder.
• Scroll down on the printer’s display by using Up and Down buttons to choose Fax, and then click OK.
• Select whether Black or Color Fax.
• In case if your printer is fed with document on the automatic feeder, the printer sends the document to the number which you have entered. In case if you have not placed the document on your printer, a pop up message appears stating to enter the fax document.
• Enter the recipient number by using the keypad on your printer, and then press OK.

Send a standard fax from your computer

• You need not look out for a private fax machine to share your document. Now it is possible to send fax on your 123 HP Officejet 4630 Printer Setup.
• Install your printer driver software on your computer.
• Make use of software installation CD to install the setup.
• Open any document on your computer.
• Click on the File menu in the document and then click on Print.
• Select your printer name from the list of printers.
• Go to might Properties or Options that opens up the Properties dialog box.

This feature helps you to intimate the fax recipient in advance. Based on the fax setup, either the recipient attends the call or the printer fax machine itself attends the call.

Send a Fax Manually from an Extension Phone

• Place the document or the original file that you want to fax on the scanner glass.
• Navigate using Up and Down buttons on your control panel display and then choose Fax.
• Dial the recipient number on your printer’s control panel.
• If your recipient picks up the call you could intimate about the fax initially.
• Select the OK option and then hit the SEND option.
